Howdy! I'm Pam - the illustrator and creator behind Mazapan Paper Co.

 I’m a border-town girl based in Austin, Texas where I design and package Mazapan Paper Co. stationery con mucho amor. I make illustrated paper goods that are often inspired by my Latinx and Texan roots with the goal of spreading positivity and empowerment. Mazapan Paper Co. designs are reminders of the cultura that runs deep through my soul, the cozy and nostalgic feeling of home, and all the small things that allow us to pause and find moments of lightheartedness in an ordinary life.

Making cute things that are a reflection of my values and sharing them with the world brings me so much joy and I hope that you can find something here that makes you feel the same. why Mazapan?

Mazapan is a traditional Mexican candy made of peanuts and sugar. It's a very delicate sweet that melts in your mouth and crumbles at the touch. Mazapanes remind me of my childhood, of parties with all my cousins, diving to get the best candies from the piñata, of visits to my tias’, and trips down the block to the corner store with some extra pesos from my grandma.

My hope is that Mazapan Paper Co. products can evoke in you that same sweet feeling of comfort and nostalgia and a little bit of laughter.
